"Butter Woman" by Tuere T. S. Ganges and Samille Ganges (a.k.a. plantainfutures) | "Butter Woman" is a one hour life-sized puppet performance that reclaims and reimagines an African folktale once distorted by colonial retellings. The work emerges from the desire to preserve stories that center Black and Brown lineages, connect us to the Motherland and resist erasure.
"DAM" by David Chervony | "DAM" is a one hour play with water. Using samples from a local body of water and several implements designed to contain it, the artist attempts to control the water and themselves — and ends up getting wet. Exploring a climate emergency, a crisis of identity, and unique juggling technique, "DAM" expresses a need for fluidity in a rapidly drying world.
"Kurogo Me, Together" by Izumi Ashizawa | Kurogo is a figure on-stage dressed in black from head to toe in Japanese traditional theatre genres of Bunraku puppetry and Kabuki. In the Japanese theatrical code, Kurogo signifies “invisible”/ “ non-existent”, to support the on-stage characters. “Kurogo Me, Together!” is a 70 minute participatory performance art piece reframing traditional Japanese theatre, video game avatars, and live participatory theatre.
"It's Alive: Fringe After Dark" featuring Sailem from Hell, Eddie Lockwood, Aurora, and Bimbo Yaga & Misss Aubrey Jean with kittening by Lady Lumen | It’s alive!!! Enter the shadows of Fringe Fest After Dark, where film noir meets provocateur. Bathe in the dark glamour of New Orleans. Local baddies, underground darlings, and twisted mischief. See you in the shadows. 🖤 "It's Alive: Fringe After Dark" is one-hour of twists and turns through pole, burlesque, and puppetry.
"Waiting for Julieta" by Casa Teatro Reynosa & Cía. Gorguz Teatro | "Waiting for Julieta" is a one-hour adaptation of this well-known “love” story, set in northeastern Mexico, right on the border, where the performers share—through autobiographical material—their own missteps and failures in romantic prelaticios. The play takes place during a carne asada, a social gathering in which meat is cooked live onstage and shared with the audience in the form of tacos and beers.
"Falsettos and Sunsets" by Marlo Winter and Luz Gaxiola | "Falsettos and Sunsets" is a one-hour comedic play with audience participation. It tells the story of Richard Begaldix (Marlo Winter) and George Lamps (Luz Gaxiola), a pair of cartoony cool guys who fall in love and stumble through the world of polyamory with outrageous physical comedy, startling emotional honesty, and slapstick existential confusion.
"Temple of Cunt" by Juniper Joel Cassaway, Avery Temple, Paulette Argeres, and Nova Jewell | Experience imperfect divinity through dance, dialogue, and audience involvement. Join four newly made, genderfucked deities - Gossip, Orgy, Sacrifice, and Transformation - in their quest to become respected gods by their mortal followers. In this journey, they realize their power isn’t in being famous or loved publicly — it's in accepting each other in their totality.

"a happening with reckoning" is a visual happening of what i think may be ego death and a physical death (depending on how its received). With the guidance of earth, herbs, ancestors, art making, entities and ritual, we are invited to witness a person journeying outside of their selves and into another realm of being.
“Au Natchitoches Au Nouveau” Join T Marie and Friends as they explore an ancient Louisiana dirge in a new acoustic improv album, “Au Natchitoches Au Nouveau.” “Au Natchitoches Au Nouveau” is a concept album that infuses a variety of genres and influences: acoustic improv, vocal improv, drone, a capella, jazz, ballads, and cajun fiddle … in an exploratory reinterpretation of an ancestral Louisiana folk song. The album was recorded live in the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Every aspect of the project was improvisational.
"The Bacchae" is our take on Euripides’ 2,400-year-old play about Dionysus, a city that refuses to recognize him, and the chaos that follows. We’re interested in the queerness already present in the ancient text and in bringing back some of what made Greek theatre Greek: music, dance, chanting, ritual, and wine. Attendees are invited to join us for food and libations before the show and explore the magic and mystery of Music Box Village.
"The Baker Flunken Muffer Show" Created and performed by Tricia Anderson and Maclain Maier. The Baker Flunken Muffer Show is part variety show, part clown act, and part salesmanship: Junie Baker-Flunken and Reggie Flunken-Muffer, a traveling married couple, will entertain you and sell you everything you've ever wanted off their Cart of Wonders, all while teetering on the brink of marital collapse. Will their marriage be saved or will they go their separate ways? Only the help of the audience can determine their fate.
"Beware of the Lobster" After a failed attempt at talking to her dentist, Woman goes to her Great Aunt Martha's house--who is throwing a Halloween party for the parish's dying priest. Once guests arrive, parish patrons bombard her with passive-aggressive remarks which leads her to escape outside where she starts a conversation with a fake priest. There's anger, there's death, and sometimes there's just a cigarette with a bottle of red that's yet to be drunk.
"The Concrete Cabaret" is a burlesque version of The Wiz Emerald City Sequence. Costume reveal thru color change (green, red, gold) with gold body paint and a boob portrait to end the act.
“Conditional Love” is a two-act performance installation about learning to love yourself and to accept love from others. This one-person show includes campy humor, themes of aging, the pain of feeling inadequate, awkward sensuality, joy, and most importantly LOVE.
"Confabulation" An Evening of Honest Lies" *Tickets sold at the door ONLY* Cash/Venmo Confabulation is a multimedia performance of spoken-word microfictions, generative soundscapes, and colorful abstract projections where the performers and the audience co-confabulate a swirling morass of experiences that never took place, and leave with memories that never happened. Each 45-minute performance is different, combining randomly selected prose pieces into ephemeral thematic narratives. The operating principle is trust: we trust that the writing process will draw forth themes and images that are important to both of us and relevant to the moment we find ourselves in. And we trust that the audience — always an integral collaborator in meaning-making — will, individually and collectively, find a story they need to hear.
"Crazy Hard Stuff" is a bouffon style clown character I have been developing for the past 3 years. My performance will consist of multiple short form pieces that together, as a whole, form a cohesive introduction to the character. There will be interdimensional spiders teaching telepathy, arguments over polycules, an effort to quit smoking, and audience participation. There is also LIVE MUSIC in the form of circuit bent beats and synthesizers I made myself.

Can you navigate a new romance while calculating risk assessments on every date? From creator and performer Jesse Bradley-Amore comes a hilarious and heartfelt solo show about falling head-over-heels for a doctor just as the COVID-19 pandemic begins. Armed with the baggage of two divorces and a world full of uncertainty, Dr. Amore explores vulnerability, resilience, and what it truly takes to start over when everything is on the line.
"Every Second Counts, Yet Nothing Matters" HOPLA is an artistic collaboration founded by Bilal Amjad (New Jersey, USA) and Max E. Barnes Herrlander (Malmö, Sweden). Working across visual art, design, film, and fashion, the duo approach HOPLA as a flexible framework rather than a fixed institution, one that allows projects to move fluidly between exhibition-making, material production, and cultural experimentation. Shaped by backgrounds in Film, interior design, and Sales, and informed by experience navigating both independent and commercial art contexts, Amjad and Herrlander use HOPLA to examine how labor, taste, and cultural memory are embedded in everyday objects and environments. Their collaborative practice often operates outside traditional gallery structures, favoring site-specific presentations and hybrid formats that blur distinctions between art, design, and lived experience.
"Flying Dreams: The Ambitious Ascent of Icarus and Daedalus" A mythical, mystical, (meta)physical journey to unthinkable heights! The Temple House (3151 Dauphine Street) will be transformed into Ancient Crete, 2600 BC, the very night the great inventor and his intrepid son prepare to take flight. Wings are being readied…plans are being hatched…something new is emerging.
"Ghost-riders" is a theatrical dance piece about romance, queerness and longing. Two performers enter, adorned in intricate costumes which obscure their human forms. They move towards each other as ghostly apparitions. Tension builds, slowly the characters introduce themselves through movement, and eventually peel off layers of their costumes. They expose their true selves and the echoing memory of a love story reveals itself.
"GILTFISH" The drama is built around Sergius Orata, an Oyster Breeder and heated pool engineer who was so deft at his craft that he drove up the price of real estate in the bay of Naples, exploring the Roman aristocratic obsession with everything to do with seafood. Meanwhile trouble brews amidst irrationally feared local tribes, and exposed class wars in the new wealthy unaristocratic "new Man" class of roman citizens. The whole has implied overtones about more immediate items in our current zeitgeist.
"Goat in the Schools" is GRP's youth theatre show, and the only touring production in New Orleans that features student-written plays performed by professional actors. The 2026 touring repertoire includes: The Grabpack by King Butler, Young Audiences Charter School | Attack of the Alien Turtle by Benjamin Reeks, Arabi Elementary | Fish Fryer Passes by Jarred Johns, Young Audiences Charter School | Arctic Match by Iris Lamy, International School of Louisiana
"GOOD GRIEF" is an original one woman contemporary clown show that explores what happens when we stop trying to "get over" grief and instead learn to carry it with us. With humor, vulnerability, and absurdity, Stephanie Bell's clown invites audiences into a world where heartbreak and laughter coexist. Through physical comedy, audience interaction, and moments of surprising tenderness, the show asks what it means to love someone after they're gone—and how joy can still find us in the middle of loss.
"The Wedding Party" is a family-friendly comedy about a divorced mother (Perfect Patty) who is preparing a pre-wedding dinner for her son and his fiancée. The evening reunites the family that a divorce has divided. The story follows Patty as she attempts to show the family that she has survived the divorce unscathed, when she really has not. Other unresolved issues bubble to the surface, including the mother’s tumultuous relationship with her youngest daughter. As the evening progresses, the family’s discussion begins to resolve long-held and deep-seated issues.

We invite you to memoirist Elizabeth Miki Brina’s essay “New Tricks” presented as a play for the first time since its initial French Quarter reading in 2024. “Much More Effective than Pressing Snooze” follows the almost 20 year friendship between the writer and her loveable, but self-proclaimed degenerate best friend, Danny, played by collaborator and playwright Fernando Rivera, Jr. Welcome to the Majestic Elegance Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where a drug-induced sobriety changes the course of Danny and Liz's relationship forever.

On the bill: Glorba: My Alien Pen Pal, Stan! (co-written with Sydni Meyers), Blue Alligator, and Toilet Paper Roll.
"Not The Other Way Around ...or...Detested by a Child" Two actors move through a series of nonsensical monologues and dialogues seemingly trying to communicate with each other, but always falling short. Spoken parts are paired with strictly choreographed stage movements to create an abstract stage play with musical accompaniment by Neal Todten.

"SHEEP" is a surreal clown play from avant-garde comedian Joey Z. The audience follows a sheep through a dream, interacting and helping shape the show through guided narration or mime clown work. Throughout SHEEP you will meet interesting characters, experience surreal imagery, and hear experimental music. People have called SHEEP “Lynchian” , “Satanic” , “Special” , “Beautiful” , “The coolest thing going on right now” , “One of the stupidest f***ing things I’ve ever seen” . SHEEP is an experience and every show is different. Since the first performance of SHEEP in Jan 2025 the show has toured to 20 different cities and 12 states. (Depending on availability a friend can live score SHEEP on guitar and it sounds loud and haunting).

"Three Clowns, One Pant" *Tickets sold at the door ONLY* Some men wear masks. These three wear a single pair of pants, and none of them fit. The first is Grumpus, a tiny tailor who lives inside a sewing machine. The second is Thibodeaux, a Cajun fisherman who has fallen — completely, foolishly, permanently — in love with his accordion. The third is Tinsel the Truth Teller — reimagined here as a scam wizard, a gender-bent con man peddling magic he insists is real. Three men. Three delusions. One pair of pants, passed hand to hand, holding together three very different ways of not quite holding it together.
“To Persist in Error” A detective tries to put the pieces together while investigating Peter’s death, communicating with an artificial intelligence operating system named Maddie. “To Persist in Error” is a show about identity, humanity, and connection, or perhaps a lack of these things.
"Unwinding the Universe" invites audiences into a vivid, sensory world where art and science meet. Conceived and performed by Malcolm McClay in collaboration with Jeff Becker, this multidisciplinary work blends live performance, large-scale sculpture, film, installation, and immersive sound to explore the inner landscape of neurodivergent experience. The performance unfolds through striking scenes where body, mind, and environment blur; sculptures shift; light fractures; and sound swells from silence to intensity to echo the beauty and tension of cognitive difference.
"White Bitch Bingo" America is a crazy place, y'all. This Texan escaped the madness for a fortnight to bring this (hopefully) thought-provoking performance to New Olreans. Examining her own whiteness and the systems that shaped her, Caroline Cole's "White Bitch Bingo" is full of messy buns and lattes alongside more serious themes of colonization, evangelicalism, and desperation to become "one of the good ones."
"work.txt" This is a show about work. But the worker isn’t here, so it’s down to you. You’ll clock in at the beginning. You’ll get short breaks at regular intervals. You’ll work in a team, and under your own initiative. You will be your own boss. You will be free. work.txt is a play performed entirely by the audience. It is a 60-minute show that explores themes of contemporary work, automation, and always-on working culture. The story is about a person in a city somewhere who has stopped working, and the story is an attempt by the audience to work together to figure out why.
